Terms of Service

Sales Guard (the “App”) is a Shopify app that provides features such as sales period control, scheduled sale pricing, launch notifications, and restock notifications.
Users shall use the App after agreeing to these Terms of Service.
Service Features
The App primarily provides the following features:
- Purchase control based on sales periods
- Sales period settings at the product or variant level
- Scheduled sale price settings
- Registration and email delivery for launch notifications and restock notifications
- Display of notification data
- Management of email templates and sending settings
User Responsibilities
Users shall configure and use the App at their own responsibility.
Users are responsible for settings such as sales periods, sale prices, notification content, sender email addresses, and connection information for external email delivery services.
When sending emails to customers, users shall comply with applicable laws, guidelines, Shopify terms, and the terms of any external email delivery services they use.
External Email Delivery Services
The App may use Resend, SendGrid, or a user-configured SMTP server to send notification emails.
When using SendGrid or SMTP, users are responsible for configuring and managing API keys, SMTP information, sender email addresses, domain authentication, and related settings.
Use of external email delivery services is subject to each service’s terms of service, privacy policy, sending limits, reviews, account suspensions, outages, and other conditions.
Email Delivery Disclaimer
The App does not guarantee email delivery, opens, clicks, sales, or avoidance of spam filtering.
Emails may fail to send or arrive due to external email delivery services, SMTP servers, recipient email environments, DNS settings, domain authentication, sending limits, network failures, or other factors.
The developer shall not be liable for any damages incurred by users or third parties due to these circumstances.
Purchase Control Disclaimer
The App performs sales period control through integrations with external services such as Shopify APIs, webhooks, Checkout Validation, and Cloud Tasks.
Sales period control or notification delivery may not operate as expected due to delays, outages, specification changes, misconfiguration, communication failures, or other issues affecting external services.
Users shall review their settings and operational status before and after important sales start or end times.
Prohibited Acts
Users shall not engage in any of the following acts:
- Using the App for purposes that violate laws or public order and morals
- Sending inappropriate emails without customer consent
- Configuring false or fraudulent sender information
- Placing excessive load on the App or external email delivery services
- Infringing the rights of third parties
Changes or Suspension of the Service
The developer may change App features, suspend provision of the App, or perform maintenance as necessary.
The developer shall not be liable for any damages incurred by users or third parties as a result.
Disclaimer
The App is provided “as is.”
The developer makes no warranties regarding the App, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, completeness, continuity, usefulness, email deliverability, or completeness of sales control.
The developer shall not be liable for any damages incurred by users or third parties through use of the App.
Changes to These Terms
The developer may change these Terms of Service as necessary.
Revised terms shall take effect when published or otherwise notified.
